Dentist

Tot had his first dentist visit recently. We had previously psyched him up for a visit that was cancelled due to inclement weather, and they called a few days later with a same day cancellation to reschedule. We took it. What an easy way to mark "reschedule dentist visit" off the list!

I didn't really know what to expect from Tot. I knew he would be curious and possibly reserved. I didn't know if he would be too cooperative simply because it was a 100% new experience. The one thing I didn't expect was what actually happened: he totally rocked it. He was chill and cooperative and even let the hygienist FLOSS his teeth without incident (he only has 4 spaces that touch enough to bother flossing, so I haven't...bothered). He got a good report on all 20 teeth, and the dentist wasn't yet concerned with the thumb-sucking related appearance of his teeth.

Go on, my sweet boy. Keep keeping us on our toes and surprising us in all the best ways.
