Smooth Operator

For our church family group gatherings, we hire a lovely sitter to corral our combined 13 kids so that we can go over our lesson in relative peace. Sunday, the weather was nice and we specifically planned to meet at a time for her to watch the kids play outside before dinner. Our very responsible sitter had never been to our house, so in her effort to ensure that she could find our house in time, she arrived a few minutes ahead of everyone else. Tot decided to give her the grand tour.

Tot: Do you want to see my new bed?!
Sitter: Oh, I like it!
Tot: Do you want to see my bathroom that my mommy made me?
Sitter: It's very pretty.
Tot: Do you want to watch my new Jake and the Neverland Pirates movie?!
Sitter: Um....
Tot: Mommy, she wants to watch me watch my new Jake and the Neverland Pirates movie!

Nice try, little one. Nice. Try.
