Last week, I randomly remembered that our library is open until 8:00 pm several days per week. For some odd reason, it never occurred to me to take Tot on a Saturday, though we certainly could have made many trips there before now. Last Wednesday, Tot had his first library visit. He let me read several books to him, and we checked out two Valentine's Day themed ones. As soon as we got home, he requested to read each of those books two more times. Unfortunately, our library only loans out books; Tot wanted to borrow the toy trucks he was playing with too! We both enjoyed the the trip, and I foresee many more visits in our future.

I can't wait to introduce Matthew to the Wyebary soon. Although the last time I checked out books, I had them for five years! (They were packed in a box when we moved). I did end up returning them to the library, but I'm not sure if I'm still on their blacklist!
