For those about to ROCK!

Tot has a new love. It is contagious. He adores strumming his guitar and singing ROCK! songs. Each night for the last two weeks, MH and I have had front row seats to his concerts. Once the mood strikes, he declares that he needs to go get his "bitar" so he can sing a ROCK! song. Please note that proper emphasis should always be used when saying or singing the word ROCK!

His repetoire currently includes variations of:
"This is a ROCK! Song" (from Sid the Science Kid)
"Never Say Never to a Neverland Pirate" (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates)
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"
"Jingle Bells"
"Christmas Cookies"

He is a very energetic and enthusiastic entertainer who compels his audience to get in on the performance. After Tot's initial couple of songs, he hands off the "bitar", takes a seat, then we take turns strumming and singing. We put on quite a show.

Considering the fact that not one of us knows the first thing about playing a guitar (or possibly singing), one can only imagine why the pups are nowhere to be found during our three part "harmonies". It's so fun to let our collective hair down and be silly together. Also note that Tot doesn't see this as silliness; he is a dedicated and serious ROCK! artist.

  1. Oh my goodness! You will have to pull that video out when he grows up to be a famous rocker! Where did you get his guitar? Matthew has a little Elmo one that he loves to rock to. It might be time to upgrade. :)
